Born and raised in Ohio, I grew up in the “country” with farmland as far as the eye can see. I later graduated from THE Ohio State University, then a Master of Science in Meteorology from Northern Illinois University before becoming a “TV Weatherman” in Cedar Rapids, IA and Cleveland, OH. Changed careers in the late 1980’s and joined the Air Force as a weather officer and retired from the service in 2009. I became a Financial Advisor in 2009 and started my own business, DALA Financial Services LLC in the Spring of 2010. In the Fall of 2019, I switched to Lincoln Financial Securities as my Broker Dealer and have thoroughly enjoyed becoming “independent” and running our Financial Services Business they way it should be…..for the client.
I’ve been married for nearly 40 years to my wife Allison and we have 2 sons, Luke and Aaron, both in their early 30’s.
I enjoy traveling, hiking and singing in the Sunrise Methodist Choir in Colorado Springs. My wife and I love to attend local music programs and the latest Broadway Musicals in Denver. Allison and I also recently became season ticket holders for AF Hockey and have enjoyed supporting and cheering for the AF Academy Cadets. I’ve been a member of the Rotary Club of East Colorado Springs since 2010 and enjoy every minute I spend helping those in our community and in other parts of the Globe.
